About Cândida Conde Miranda.
Cândida is a renowned Portuguese artist, a graduate of Fine Arts in Lisbon (Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa) who exhibits and sells her works in museums or contemporary art meetings such as the Marinha Grande Plastic Arts Biennial or the Amadora Engraving Biennial.
About the quilling technique.
The quilling technique, also called paper filigree or quilling art, is a rather old technique dating back to the Renaissance in France. This technique was then commonly used in the making of reliquary panels.
