Set of 2 ceramic sardines, one entirely red and the other striped red and white.

These sardines will find their place all over the house and immediately evoke Portugal. They can be placed together on a piece of furniture thanks to their flat belly, or hung on the wall thanks to their ventral hole. They are also widely used at the table, as a decorative object or as a cutlery rest.

These pieces come from a traditional ceramic workshop located near Caldas da Rainha, in central Portugal, the ancestral birthplace of Portuguese ceramics. All pieces are entirely made and then hand-painted there with methods and attention to detail that are rarely found anymore.
