Set of 2 ceramic sardines, one entirely orange and the other striped orange and white.

These sardines will find their place throughout the house and immediately evoke Portugal. They can be placed together on a piece of furniture thanks to their flat belly, or hung on the wall thanks to their ventral hole. They are also widely used on the table, as a decorative object or as a cutlery rest.

These pieces come from a traditional ceramics workshop located near Caldas da Rainha, in central Portugal, the ancestral home of Portuguese ceramics. All pieces are entirely made and then hand-painted using methods and attention to detail that are rarely found today.
