Set of 2 ceramic sardines, one entirely yellow and the other striped yellow and white.

These sardines will find their place throughout the house and immediately evoke Portugal. They can be placed together on a piece of furniture thanks to their flat belly, or hung on the wall thanks to their ventral hole. They are also widely used at the table, as a decorative object or as a cutlery rest.

These pieces come from a traditional ceramic workshop located near Caldas da Rainha, in central Portugal, the ancestral home of Portuguese ceramics. All pieces are entirely made there and then hand-painted with methods and attention to detail that are rarely seen anymore.
