The Cobres Cunha workshop was founded in 1932 by João da Cunha Ferreira in front of the São José de Barcelos chapel. Today, this artisanal workshop still exists, has moved a few steps away and produces brass jewelry used as accessories by Portuguese fashion week designers.
Brass is an alloy used for hundreds of years to make dazzling ethnic jewelry, which does not cause allergies and is very resistant.
