Fused Glass Bowl from Marinha Grande - Yellow

Entirely handcrafted in Marinha Grande, the birthplace of Portuguese glassmaking, this serving bowl is created by fusing coloured glass sheets at high temperature.

Its generous, open shape is perfect for serving salads, fruit or shared dishes. It is equally beautiful displayed on its own at the centre of a table or sideboard, where it instantly becomes a striking decorative piece.

Each bowl is unique, born from the creativity of Sílvia, a young Portuguese designer, and the remarkable craftsmanship of Rui, her husband and master glassmaker.

This glass piece is designed by Sílvia, a young Portuguese designer, and handcrafted by Rui, her husband, in their workshop in Marinha Grande, the historic home of Portuguese glassmaking. Founded in 1997, this family-run workshop combines the centuries-old glassmaking tradition of Marinha Grande with the innovative art of glass fusing.
