This golden yellow ceramic swallow was created according to the tradition of Caldas da Rainha, made famous by its renowned inventor Bordallo Pinheiro.
It is made in a small ceramic workshop in Caldas da Rainha and benefits from a remarkable finish: the ceramic is smooth and free of surface defects, the edges are sharp, the colors uniform and the finish very shiny.
Available in various colors and sizes, it is designed with a ventral hole, allowing it to be fixed to the wall or placed flat on a piece of furniture.

This swallow comes from a small workshop located between Caldas da Rainha and Obidos in West-Central Portugal, in the province of Estremadura.
The molds used there are passed down from generation to generation and the owner of the workshop today uses his grandfather's molds. All pieces are made entirely by hand.
