Ceramic swallow from Caldas da Rainha - White

This white ceramic swallow was created according to the tradition of Caldas da Rainha, made famous by its renowned inventor Bordallo Pinheiro.

It is manufactured in a small ceramic workshop in Caldas da Rainha and benefits from remarkable craftsmanship: the ceramic is smooth and flawless, the edges are sharp, the colors are consistent, and the finish is very glossy.

Available in various colors and sizes, it is designed with a ventral hole, allowing it to be fixed to a wall or placed flat on a piece of furniture.

This swallow comes from a small workshop located between Caldas da Rainha and Obidos in West-Central Portugal, in the province of Estremadura.

The molds used there have been passed down from generation to generation, and the workshop owner now uses his grandfather's molds. All pieces are entirely handmade there.
