Cantara vintage sardines are produced at the peak of the season, using only fresh sardines of Portuguese origin.

The sardines are sorted to select only the best batches, steamed and canned by hand in white tins, so that the silvery color of the fish stands out when the tin is opened. The vintage sardines then rest for a minimum of one year, gaining in quality over time.
