This chocolate delicacy comes from one of Portugal's oldest chocolate factories, founded in 1914 in northern Portugal. Anchored in Portugal's collective memory, the brand was the subject of a stamp bearing its effigy issued by the Portuguese Post Office, and a museum now stands next to the factory.
