Quinta de São Luiz is located on the left bank of the Douro River, near Pinhão. It is an impressive estate, considered one of the most emblematic in the Douro region.

Acquired by the Kopke family in 1922, the Quinta is composed of vineyards with different sun exposures and plots situated at varying altitudes. The vines are planted vertically, following the slope of the hillside, which reaches an angle of 70% in some areas. The estate covers 125 hectares, 90 of which are planted with vines.
