“A Jarra de Rufos” is an extraordinary decorative piece where Portuguese ceramics meet the world of historical costume and artisanal craftsmanship. Its refined silhouette in glossy blue earthenware is enhanced by a spectacular beige Burel collar inspired by the dramatic ruffs worn during the 16th century.

The vase is crafted in glazed earthenware using the traditional immersion glazing technique, creating a smooth and luminous surface with remarkable depth. Around the neck, a Portuguese artisan specialised in Burel work carefully shapes and hand-sews each fold of the collar. This thick and warm wool, traditionally used in Portugal’s mountain regions, becomes here a contemporary reinterpretation of historic baroque fashion.

Displayed on a console table, bookshelf or coffee table, this piece immediately becomes a focal point.
