Terras Madre de Água is a white wine from Portugal’s Dão region, crafted from three characteristic grape varieties: Encruzado, Gouveio and Bical. The harmony between these grapes gives this wine the qualities of a full-bodied, well-structured white with exuberant aromas of elderflower, pineapple, and peach.

It pairs beautifully with fish, salads, and fresh cheeses, and is also ideal as a starter or aperitif.

Madre de Água – Serra da Estrela Winery is located in the Dão wine region, known for producing some of Portugal’s finest wines, recognized for their quality and elegance.

Its history, dramatic landscapes, and vineyards surrounded by mountain ranges that protect them from external influences give these wines unique aromatic and flavor characteristics. An exceptional terroir, home to the vineyards of Quinta de Santo António and Quinta da Regada, aged 15 and 40 years respectively, many of which already existed when acquired by the current owners.

Today, Madre de Água – Serra da Estrela spans 16 hectares across its estates, cultivating both white and red grape varieties, local and international. The vineyards are located at 600 meters above sea level.
