    Muxagat Tinta Barroca is produced from one of the most planted grape varieties in the Douro vineyards. After manual harvesting, the grapes arrive at the winery in 20kg crates. After destemming, they ferment naturally in cement tanks at a temperature of 24 to 28°C for about 1 month. The wine is aged in underground cement tanks for about 10 to 11 months.

    This wine comes from a secular village, in a harsh and austere territory, where the cold is really felt throughout the winter. Wine has always been part of its history, probably since the Roman presence in the region.
