Bagaceira Aguardente is one of the main categories of Portuguese Aguardente. It is a high-alcohol brandy distilled from grape pomace.

Montanha Aguardente comes from the double distillation of fresh pomace, revealing a crystal-clear appearance, an intense aroma, and a smooth, persistent alcoholic flavour.

This spirit is enjoyed at the end of a meal, but it is also widely used to flame-grill chouriço, the famous Portuguese sausage.
