Set of 2 ceramic sardines, one entirely blue and the other striped blue and white.

These sardines will find their place anywhere in the house and immediately evoke Portugal. They can be placed together on a piece of furniture thanks to their flat underside, or they can be attached to the wall using the hole in their belly. They are also very often used at the table, as a decorative object or as a cutlery rest.

These pieces come from a traditional ceramics workshop located near Caldas da Rainha, in central Portugal, the ancestral home of Portuguese ceramics. All pieces are entirely made there and then hand-painted with methods and attention to detail that are rarely found anymore.
