Set of 2 ceramic sardines, one entirely white and the other blue and white striped.

These sardines find their place throughout the house and immediately evoke Portugal. They can be placed together on a piece of furniture thanks to their flat belly, or hung on the wall thanks to their ventral hole. They are also very popular on the table, as a decorative object or as a cutlery rest.

These pieces come from a traditional ceramic workshop located near Caldas da Rainha, in central Portugal, the ancestral birthplace of Portuguese ceramics. All pieces are entirely made and then hand-painted there using methods and attention to detail that are rarely seen anymore.
