This piece comes from a small workshop located in Central-West Portugal, in the Estremadura region. Its design is characteristic of the famous Caldas da Rainha ceramic tradition, whose most renowned artist remains :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}.

The moulds used in this workshop have been passed down from generation to generation, and the current owner still works today with moulds inherited from his grandfather. Every piece is carefully handmade in very limited quantities.
