This large dish in the shape of a strawberry can be used as a serving dish, as a salad bowl, as an appetizer or simply as a beautiful decorative object.

It is produced by a small artisanal workshop in the tradition of "Caldas da Rainha" ceramics with a design inspired by nature, plants, fruits and vegetables.

Why I love it

  • An original, traditional and surprisingly modern dish.
  • A very nice handmade quality.

Characteristics

  • Length : 11.8''
  • Width : 10.2''
  • Depth : 2.8''

More informations ?

This piece comes from a small workshop located in the Center-West of Portugal, in the province of Estremadura. Its design is characteristic of the so-called Caldas da Rainha ceramics, whose most famous author is Bordallo Pinheiro.

The molds used in this workshop have been passed down from generation to generation, and the current owner uses the molds of his grandfather. All the pieces are carefully made entirely by hand and the production is very limited.
