The swallow (Andorinha) is now an icon of Portuguese folk culture and a decorative object found in homes throughout Portugal. It is equally suited to outdoor façades and indoor wall decoration.

The swallow presented here is entirely handmade and hand-painted in a small artisan workshop located in the countryside near Alcobaça.
