This necklace paired with a Viana bead evokes luck, love, and the simplicity of Portugal. Made with a single Viana bead, carefully set, the necklace rests naturally on the neck, captures the light, and remains lightweight.
Both the bead and the necklace are crafted from solid 925 silver. The gold finish is achieved through a gold bath, revealing a warm, soft glow.

More informations?
Viana beads are traditional pieces of jewelry from the Minho region in northern Portugal and symbolize good luck in love.
The first bead was traditionally offered by a godmother to her goddaughter at birth. It was threaded onto a cotton bracelet or necklace, often finished with a colorful tassel.
Over time, young girls received additional beads that were added to the first one. Then, on their wedding day, they wore their Viana bead necklace as a symbol of happiness and good fortune.
